As the sunny season in the Pacific Northwest draws to a close and a gray blanket of rain and fog takes over the landscape, musicians come home from festivals and hiking excursions to play tunes in the warm pubs of Portland, Oregon. Rather than bemoaning the long darkness of winter, we find this time to be our most musically productive. Whether it's getting locked into a late night session with the sounds of rain outside tapping along to reels or getting snowed in with a bottle of wine and a fiddle, we have grown to relish in this season of introspection and creativity. We hope these recordings find you in warmth, exceptional spirits, and in splendid company.
